KING CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS
The Cultural Arts Showcase is a FREE one-day family festival of the performing and cultural arts held annually. Presented by the Brevard Symphony Orchestra and King Center for the Performing Arts, the festival includes arts activities, cultural demonstrations & LIVE performances throughout the day including the BSO’s Annual Family Concert hosted by Mike & Mindy from Lite Rock 99.3!

Where will the Cultural Arts Showcase be?
The Cultural Arts Showcase is held at the King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne, Florida. The King Center is located on the grounds of Eastern Florida State College. The Brevard Symphony Orchestra will perform a FREE family concert in the main theater. Festivities will take place along the outside covered walkway, the Rotunda and Studio Theater.
Directions & Parking
The King Center is located at 3865 N. Wickham Road in Melbourne, Florida, on the corner of Post Road and Wickham Road.
Parking
Ample free parking is available to all King Center guests. The earlier you arrive, the closer you may park.

Directions from Interstate 95: Take the CR-509/Wickham Road exit, Exit 191, toward Satellite Beach/Patrick Air Force Base. Turn east onto CR-509/S. Wickham Road and take the road for about 7 miles. Turn left onto Post Road. The King Center entrance is on the south side of Post Road.

Do I need tickets?
No tickets are required for this event. The entire event is FREE!
Is seating for the performances guaranteed?
All seating is first-come, first serve. Doors to all areas, except the main auditorium, will open at noon. Doors to the main auditorium will open at 1:30pm.
Can I bring my dog?
As much as we love Fluffy and Spot, please leave your four legged friends at home. The majority of activities and performances are held indoors. Pets are not allowed at the event except certified service animals.
Can I bring a picnic?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a picnic and sit on the grassy areas. No alcohol is allowed to be brought into the event, but is available for purchase in the concessions area. Please keep all walkways clear and dispose of all trash. All bags, baskets, coolers, etc., are subject to search and may not be left alone.
Can I take photos with participants?
Yes, some of our costumed participants and BSO musicians will be happy to take photos with you. Please be considerate and always ask before taking a photo. And…don’t forget to say “Thank You!”

Is smoking allowed at the event?
Smoking is not permitted at the King Center.
Is there a fee to attend the Showcase?
Admission to the event is FREE. NO TICKETS REQUIRED.
Will I have a seat for the performances?
All seats are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Please be considerate of other guests at the event and fill in the rows all the way across.

Where can I get some cash?
There is an ATM located in lobby of the King Center.

Do I have to pay for parking?
Parking at the King Center and around the campus of Eastern Florida State College is FREE.
Where do I park?
There are parking lots surrounding the venue that are available for event attendees.
Parking is FREE, on a first-come, first serve basis.
Please park in designated areas only. Vehicles that are parked illegally in and around the venue are subject to ticketing and may be towed at the owner’s expense.
